Ingredients

  • 2 # ground beef
  • 1 , 28 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 , 28 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 large sweet onion, diced
  • 2 c. chopped red or green peppers
  • 2 beef boullion cubes (I use paste)
  • 1/8 c brown sugar (packed)
  • 2 t salt
  • 1 t ground black pepper

Step 1

In dutch oven or stock pot, brown the ground beef about 10 min. Drain. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce and simmer until peppers are tender, 35-40 minutes.
