Charoses

This is a favorite for our Passover Sedar. Jennifer has gotten to be the Charoses Maven knowing just how much wine to add!
This is one of those recipes without specific directions or amounts. The ingredients are added by frequently tasting the mixture until it tastes JUST RIGHT!

Ingredients
- Apples, cored, peeled and sliced
- Cinnamon
- Chopped walnuts
- Kosher sweet red wine
Preparation
Step 1
1) Coarsely chop the apples in a food processor or chopper.
2) Coarsely chop the nuts in a food processor or chopper.
3) Combine apples and nuts, add cinnamon and mix.
4) Add about 1/3 if a cup of wine and taste the mixture. Adjust the amount of nuts, cinnamon and/or wine to your taste.
