Ingredients

  • 1 T lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1 1/2 t garlic salt
  • 1 t dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 t cayenne pepper
  • 1 bone in beef rib roast (6-7 lbs)
  • 2 c beef broth

Preparation

Step 1

In sm bowl mix first 5 ingredients; rub over roast. Place roast in shallow roasting pan, fat side up. Roast at 325 2 1/2 - 2 3/4 hrs until meat reaches desired doneness (145 for med rare, 160 for med, 170 for well done).

Remove roast from oven; tent with foil. Let stand for 15 min before carving. Meanwhile pour drippings & loosened browned bits from roasting pan into sm pan; skim fat. Add beef broth to drippings; bring to boil. Serve with roast.
