Ingredients

  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 1.2 c. butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp. corn syrup
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 load french bread
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Step 1

Combine the first 5 ingredients and pout into greased 13x9 dish. Slice bread 1/2 ti 3/4 inch thick and place over a syrup mix. Beat remaining ingredients together and pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 325 for 30-35 minutes.
