  • 1 lb lean ground beef, cooked & drained (substitute sausage or 1/2 & 1/2)
  • Spices to taste
  • 8 oz noodles or pasta
  • 8 oz soft cream cheese
  • 1 T chopped green or red pepper
  • 16 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 c sm curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 c sour cream
  • 1/3 c chopped green onions
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 T butter, melted
  • EVOO



Step 1

Brown meat in skillet with oil. Stir in tomato sauce & spices. Simmer. Boil pasta (pkg directions) & drain. Combine cheeses & sour cream with onions & green peppers.

Spread 1/2 of pasta in casserole dish. Cover with cheese mixture. Add remaining pasta. Pour melted butter over pasta. Pour sauce on top of pasta. Top with Parmesan or mozzarella cheese or both.

Bake at 350 until bubbly. Can also be layered in 9x 13 pan like lasagna.
