Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh baby carrots
- 1 medium orange juiced and finely zested
- 1/8 tsp cornstarch
- 3/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp ground ginger
- pinch ground cloves
- pinch salt
- 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbl butter

Step 1
Bring 1/2 cup of water and carrots to a boil in medium sauce pan over medium high heat. Cover reduce the heat to emediium low and cook 8-10 minutes or until carrots are crisp tender.
While carrots are cooking whisk together the orange juice(you may need toadd water to make a full 1/3 cup), cornstarch and spices. Uncover the pan, add the orange juice mixture, brown sugar and butter and stir to evenly distribute. Bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes or until juice forms a glaze and the carrots are tender.
Stir in the orang zest and serve.
