    c canned pumpkin

    T cold butter cut in small pieces

  • Plain glaze

    c plus 1 T powdered sugar

  • Spiced glaze

  • 1

    c plus 3 T powdered sugar

  • ¼

    t cinnamon

  • t nutmeg

  • pinch of ginger and cloves

Directions

Heat oven to 425 place parchement paper on baking sheet in a large bowl combine the 8 dry ingredients-cut in butter with pastry cutter in a separate bowl whisk pumpkin, half and half and egg Add to flour stirring just until dough comes together in a ball turn onto lightly floured surface knead 5 times then flatten into 1 inch circle cut in half then each half into 3 wedges bake 14-16 mins till golden brown cool completely on rack whisk together plain glaze ingredients and spoon over scones-let harden for 10 mins-then whisk together spice glaze ingredients and drizzle over scones-let harden one hour
