Overnight Breakfast Bake

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot sausage
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 6 slices bread, torn into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) pkg sliced fresh mushrooms

Preparation

Step 1

Brown sausage in large skillet; drain and let cool. Beat eggs and milk in medium mixing bowl. Add salt, mustard and bread; stir until bread is soft. Stir in cheese, mushrooms and sausage. Pou mixture into lightly greased 13x9 inch dish. Cover; refrigerate overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake 40 to 45 minutes before slicing.
