Ingredients
- A large handful of flat leaf parsley (mix in any other leafy fresh herbs, like mint, sage, arugula or oregano)
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 pound angel hair pasta
- A goodly amount of Parmesan cheese
- A pinch or two of red pepper flakes (optional)
- A small pat of butter (optional)
- A tangy squeeze or two of lemon

Preparation
Step 1
1. Boil and salt water. Chop up broccoli and stems. Place pasta and broccoli in water. Boil according to pasta package directions.
2. In a small pan, heat up the olive oil; add the garlic and gently sauté until golden. Add the butter and melt. Take off the heat.
3. Drain pasta well, then toss with the garlic mixture and Parmesan cheese.
