Pickles (Barbara)

Ingredients

  • 32 oz jar of pickles
  • 3 C sugar
  • 3 tsp Pickling Spice
  • 1 clove Garlic, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 c tarragon vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Drain pickles thoroughly. In a large glass crock, layer 1/3 of the pickles and cover with 1/3 of the following: sugar, garlic, spice. Repeat two times. Pour vinegar over all. Cover. Let stand 24 hours. Stir and let stand 24 more hours. Return to jar and refrigerate.
