Ingredients
- 5-Tbs. Vinegar. (1/2-cup).
- 16-Tbs. Sugar. (3x5 T1).
- 11-Cups of water (approx.)
- 1-16 oz. Package lentils.
- Note; 1 part vinegar to
- 3 parts sugar.
Preparation
Step 1
In a 6 quart crock pot, add 11 to 12 cups water. Set heat to high.
Add Lentils. Remove Lentils that float on top of water. When water begins to bubble, add vinegar and stir in sugar.
Cook 4 or 5 hours on medium heat or until Lentils are soft.
(Alternate; add chunk, (diced) potatoes
or even (diced) ham).
