Ingredients
- •1-½ cup Sugar
- •2 whole Eggs
- •½ cups Shortening
- •2 cups Peeled And Mashed Peaches (I Drain Them Over A Mesh Sieve)
- •1 teaspoon Vanilla
- •2 cups Flour
- •1-¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
- •1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- •1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- •1 pinch Salt
- •½ cups Chopped Walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Cream together sugar, eggs, shortening. Add peaches and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Add all dry ingredients (except nuts) to wet mixture and stir lightly until incorporated. Fold in nuts and divide batter into 2 greased loaf pans (9×5). Bake at 350 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
