Salad - Vermicelli Salad - Jeanne Lomba

Ingredients

  • 1 14 oz pkg vermicelli coils
  • 1 medium red onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, chopped
  • 1 T. parsley
  • 1 1/2 t. celery seed
  • 1/2 t. oregano
  • 1/2 t. chopped chives
  • 1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 lb shrimp or crabmeat, cooked and marinated in 1/2 cup lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta. Add all ingredients except mayo. Toss with mayo; refrigerate or serve at room temp. Recipe can be halved or quartered. Occasionally I add another chopped veggie, like zucchini.
