Ingredients

  • 1 8-oz pkg linguine
  • 1/4 minced onion or shallot
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 T butter, melted
  • 1 8-oz carton sour cream
  • 4 T freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 T milk
  • 1 1/2 t lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/4 t salt
  • 1 T fresh lemon juice (about 1/2 medium lemon)
  • 2 T chopped parsley
  • 2 T chives

Preparation

Step 1

Cook linguini according to package directions. Drain and keep warm.

In a skillet, cook onion or shallots and garlic in butter, stirring constantly, until tender, not brown. Stir in sour cream, 2 T Parmesan cheese, milk, lemon pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Cook for about 1 minute. Remove from heat and pour over linguini. Toss gently, adding chopped pars
ley, chives, and remaining Parmesan. Serve warm.
