Ingredients
- 2 15 oz cans garbanzo beans, one drained (reserve juice) and one undrained
- 1/4 cup tahini (optional)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/8 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp black pepper (or less, to taste)
- 1/2 tsp salt

Blend. Add more of the reserved liquid if needed. The spices and lemon
make it SOOO yummy to us. You can also used cooked dried garbanzo beans if
you prefer.
You can start by putting sesame seeds and oil in the Vita Mix to make the tahini. I buy the seeds bulk and keep them in my freezer. Also you can substitute the garbanzo beans with peeled zucchini or yellow squash.
