  • 1 LB> large Shrimp
  • 1 can pineapple chunks
  • 1 TBS+2Tsp canola oil
  • 3 cloves garlic,minced
  • 4 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 green onion, finely minced
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1 dash hot sauce
  • 1 TBS honey
  • 1 TBS lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch dissolved in 2 TBS water
  • Serves four kid size.



Step 1

Peel and devein shrimp, rinse cold water pat dry. Thread shrimp and pineapple
alternately onto stainless skewers brush with 2 tsp canola. In a small saucepan heat remaining ingredients,canola oil and saute garlic,ginger and onion until fragrant.Stir in Ketchup,worcestershire,hot sauce, honey and lemon juice- heat till just simmering. Easily stir in cornstarch mixture
till slightly thick and glossy. Cool. Set half of sauce for serving.

Put skewers on med. hot grill, brush with sauce cook one side 1-2 min and shrimp begins to turn pink. turn, brush again with sauce grill till pink
and firm. Serve on plate with jasmine rice or just lettuce.
