Ingredients
- Crust:
- 1/2 stick (4Tbsp) butter, softened
- 1/3 C creamy peanut butter
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 C flour
- Filling:
- 3/4 C chocolate chips
- 1 stick (8 Tbsp) butter
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1 C flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Frosting:
- 1/2 C chocolate chips
- 1/2 C creamy peanut butter
Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease a springform pan.
2. Gream together butter, peanut butter, sugar and salt. Add flour and mix until crumbly.
3. Press dough into pan making sure it comes 2 inches up the side. Bake in preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
4. While the crust is baking, melt the chocolate chips, butter and salt over medium heat.
5. Remove from heat; add sugar and flour, stir until combined.
6. Add the beaten eggs, stir until you get a smooth consistency.
7. Pour into crust and bake an additional 20-22 minutes. (A toothpick inserted in the middle will not come out clean. It will be a little crumby.) Remove from oven; allow to cool 10 minutes in the pan, then remove from pan and continue to cool.
8. In small saucepan or microwave, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter; stir until combined then drizzle on top.
