Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 5 Tbs shortening
  • 2/3 cup warm milk
  • Filling
  • 3/4 stick softened butter
  • 3/4 lb brown sugar
  • Cinnamon a dusting
  • Sauce
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 Tbl Half n Half

Preparation

Step 1

Mix ingredients for the dough then cover with damp cloth and let rise until double ( about 2 hrs )

Prepare sauce
Mix ingredients in sauce pan, bring to boil then turn off heat...
Pour sauce in bottom of 9x13 baking dish


roll out dough into an approx. 10in by 24in rectangle
Spread softened butter evenly over the dough.
Spread brown sugar evenly over dough, then sprinkle heavily with cinnamon
Roll up dough lengthwise into a long roll. Slice into 1 1/2in rolls and place into the 9x13 baking dish in the sauce ...
cover and let rise for one hour


Bake 20 min @ 360 F
