Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teasp[oons (about 2 (.25-ounce)active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup water
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a large bowl, combine flour, yeast, salt, and sugar, whisking to blend. Add 1 cup water and butter, kneading for 5 minutes.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface, and roll to 1/8-inch thickness. Sprinkle dough evenly with salt and pepper. Using a pizza cutter, cut dough into 2-inch squares. Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
