Ingredients

  • 3 lbs potatoes (9 med), peeled & cubed
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/2 c butter, cubed
  • 1/4 c 2% milk
  • 1 1/2 t onion powder
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t garlic powder
  • 1/2 t pepper
  • 6 bacon strips, chopped
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar
  • 3 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Place potatoes in Dutch oven & cover with water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat; cover & cook for 10-15 min until tender. Drain; mash potatoes with cream cheese, sour cream & butter. Stir in milk & seasonings..

In sm skillet, cook bacon over med heat until crisp. Remove bacon to paper towel & drain. Transfer potato mixture to greased 9x13 baking dish; sprinkle with cheese, onion & bacon. Cover & refrigerate until ready to use.

Remove from fridge 30 min before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 for 40-50 min until heated through.
