Ingredients
- 2 c flour
- 1/2 t baking soda
- 1/4 t salt
- 3/4 c quick oats
- 3/4 c dark brown sugar
- 1/4 c white sugar
- 1 c butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 t vanilla extract
- 1 c chopped pecans
- 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 300 deg. Combine flour, soda, salt & oats. Mix well with wire whisk. Blend sugars with mixer. Add butter and mix. Add eggs & vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture, pecans and chocolate chips. Do not overmix. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20-22 mins. Immediately transfer cookies to a cool, flat surface.
