- onions, chopped

- green peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces

- red peppers, cut into 2 inch pieces

- garlic cloves, minced
- 14 oz. can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 1/2 1/2
- cup dry red wine
- 1 1
- tbsp. italian seasonings
- 1/2 1/2
- tsp. pepper
Preparation
Step 1
cook sausage over med heat until brown. layer half of the onions and peppers on bottom of a crockpot. add sausage. then add rest on onions and peppers.
add diced tomatoes, paste, and red wine to skillet and cook to loosen brown bits. pour over mixture. cook on low for 6 hours. one hour before finished, add pepper and italian seasonings. stir.
