Ingredients

  • To thicken:
  • 36 hot peppers (ground fine, seed and all) ** Remove 1/3 of the seeds from peppers)
  • 6 cups sugar
  • 1 qt mustard, prepared mustard
  • 1 qt vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

Bring ingredients to boil. When peppers start to boil, add thickener. Let boil 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal.

Makes 8-10 pints.
