Fudge Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 sticks oleo
• 4 Tbsp. cocoa
• 1 cup water
• 8 oz sour cream or 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 2 eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift flour and sugar into a bowl. Mix in sauce pan; oleo, cocoa, and water. Bring to a rapid boil, pour over dry ingredients, stir and add; buttermilk, baking soda, eggs, and vanilla. Mix and pour into a prepared 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 400 for 20 min.

Top with Chocolate Icing.
