Ingredients
- 1 large egg
- 12 chicken drumsticks or 6 legs (about 3 pounds)
- 1 cup cornflake crumbs
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Preparation
Step 1
1Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly beat egg in large bowl. Add chicken and toss with egg until evenly coated.
.2Combine cornflake crumbs, chopped pecans, sugar, salt, onion powder and black pepper in large resealable plastic food storage bag. Add two chicken legs; seal bag. Shake bag gently until chicken is evenly coated. Repeat with remaining chicken legs.
.3Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place chicken on prepared baking sheet; drizzle chicken with melted butter. Bake until chicken is tender, about 40 to 45 minutes.
