Appetizer - Brie Mini Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations refrigerated seamless dough sheet or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls.
  • 1 round (7 oz) Brie cheese
  • 1/2 cup red pepper jelly, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 375 degrees. If using dough sheet; unroll dough; starting in center, press into 12x9 inch rectangle. If using crescent dough; unroll dough into 1 large rectangle, pressinto 12x9 inch rectangle, firmly pressing perforations to seal.

Cut dough into 12 squares. Gently press each square into ungreased mini muffin cup, shaping edges to form rim 1/4 inch above top of cup.

With sharp knife, carefully remove rind from cheese. Cut cheese into 12 pieces; place in dough-lined cups. Spoon jelly evenly over cheese. Sprinkle with walnuts.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from muffin cups, serve warm.
