Ingredients
- 3 lbs lean ground beef
- 2 1/2 Cups dry bread crumbs
- 2 Eggs
- 1/4 Cup and 2 Tablespoons grated onion
- 1 (1 oz) packages dry Ranch-style dressing mix
- 1/4 Cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 Cups cola
- 1 Cup chopped onion
- 1 Cup chopped green bell pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375.
In a large bowl, mix together beef, bread crumbs, egg, grated onion, and ranch dressing mixes, until well blended. Shape into 1 inch meatballs, and place on 2, 10 X 15 inch rimmed baking sheets.
Bake for 30 minutes, turning them halfway through. While meatballs are roasting, mix together the ketchup, cider vinegar, cola, chopped onion, and green pepper in a slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
Remove meatballs from baking sheet, and place in the slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 3 hours, then remove lid and cook and additional 15 minutes before serving.
