Ingredients
- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
- 2 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 Cup Dried Cranberries Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Pecans or Almonds Chopped Fine
- 1/2 Cup Sunflower Seeds Chopped
- 1/2 Cup Ground Flax Seeds
- 1 tbs. Fresh Rosemary
- 2 Cups Buttermilk
- 1/4 Cup Honey
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix dry ingredients. Mix buttermilk and honey (brown sugar too if using) then mix it all together. Pour in to 2 small loaf pans. bake at 350 for 45 minutes until golden and the middle is springy to touch. Remove from pans and cool. Freeze loafs slightly after they cool to room temp as it helps when you are trying to slice thinly. Slice as thin as possible then dry in the oven at 250 for about 40 minutes turning slices every 10 minutes.
