Chicken Skillet with Mushrooms and Onions

Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breasts (1 lb./450 g)
  • 2 onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 pkg. (1/2 lb./225 g) sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkg. (120 g ) Stove Top Lower Sodium Stuffing Mix for Chicken
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup Kraft 4 Cheese Italiano Light Shredded Cheese

Preparation

Step 1

HEAT large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken, onions and mushrooms; cook 10 min. or until chicken is done (170°F), stirring onion mixture occasionally and turning chicken over after 5 min. Transfer chicken to plate; cover to keep warm. Continue cooking onion mixture 3 to 5 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally.

ADD Worcestershire sauce to onions in skillet; mix well. Reduce heat to low. Return chicken to skillet; spoon onion mixture over chicken.

MIX stuffing mix and hot water. Spoon stuffing mixture around edge of skillet; sprinkle with cheese. Cover. Cook 5 min. or until cheese is melted.
