Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated pie crust
- 1 egg white, lightly beaten
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp cinnamon
- 4 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
- 1 Tsp sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Prepare crust as directed on package.
Place on foil-lined 12-inch pizza pan. If needed, press out any folds or creases.
Brush crust with some of the egg white.
Mix sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon.
Add apples; toss to coat well.
Spoon into center of crust, spreading to within 2 inches of edge.
Bring crust up over apples to form a boarder of about 2 inches, pleating crust as needed.
Brush edge of crust with egg white, sprinkle with sugar.
Bake for 20 minutes.
