Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef, small cubed
- 1 lb carrots, chopped
- 3 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cans beef broth
- 1 can stewed tomatoes, cut in small pieces
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 2 tsps pepper
- 2 tsps oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 1/2 cups barley
- 4 cups water

Preparation
Step 1
Place vegetables in bottom of crock pot with 1 can beef broth and 1 cup water. Place meat on top then add all remaining ingredients. Cook on high 4 - 5 hours, or low 8 hours, stirring occasionally
