Ingredients
- 3 lbs. beef cubes (I like to use a london broil)
- 5 large carrots, sliced into 1/2 inch thick pieces
- 6 potatoes, quartered
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 3 cups of water
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 evelopes of lipton onion soup mix
- 2 tsps garlic powder
- 2 tsps black pepper
- 25 dumplings (see separate recipe)
- 5 tbsps cornstarch

Preparation
Step 1
Place vegetables in bottom of crock pot with 1 cup water and 1 envelope of lipton onion soup mix. Place beef on top, add 2 cups of water, spices, 1 evelope of onion soup mix and can of cream of mushroom soup. Cook 4-5 hours on low, or 8 hours on high, stirring occasionally the last 2 hours. When done, add cornstarch and water mixture to crock to thicken. Add dumplings, mix and serve.
