Beef Sour Cream Casserole

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked noodles
  • 1 cup cream style cottage cheese
  • 8 oz pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup instant minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 &1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 3 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 2oz can mushrooms drained

Preparation

Step 1

Put half the noodles in a 2 qt casserole.
Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and onion and spread over noodles.
Cover with remaining noodles and drizzle with butter.
Brown beef and drain off excess fat.
Add remaining ingredients and pur over noodles.
Cover and chill overnight.
Remove from refrigerator 1 hour before baking.
Bake covered at 375 for 45 minutes or until heated through.
Sprinkle with Parmesan.
