  • MEATBALLS:
  • 1 1/2 LBS. LEAN HAMBURGER
  • 1/4 LB. COUNTRY SAUSAGE
  • 1 PKG. LIPTON ONION SOUP MIX
  • 2 EGGS
  • 2 PIECES DRY TOAST
  • TOMATO JUICE TO MOISTEN
  • SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE
  • SWEET AND SOUR SAUCE:
  • 2 CUPS HOT TOMATO SAUCE (ADD A LITTLE TABASCO)
  • 2 CUPS SUGAR
  • 2 CHOPPED ONIONS
  • 2 TBSP. LEMON JUICE

Preparation

Step 1

MIX ALL MEAT BALL MIXTURES TOGETHER AND ROLL INTO BITE SIZE BALLS. PUT ALL SWEET AND SOUR INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN A BLENDER AND BLEND UNTIL LIQUIFIED. PUT MEATBALLS (UNCOOKED) AND SAUCE TOGETHER IN A LARGE SAUCEPAN AND SIMMER UNTIL MEAT BALLS ARE DONE. PUT INTO A CROCKPOT TO KEEP WARM FOR SERVING. YOU PUT SAUCE AND MEATBALLS IN POT.
