Ingredients

  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c flour
  • 1/4 c fresh lemon juice
  • 2 eggs,separated
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 tsp lemon rind,grated

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar,flour and butter
Add lemon juice and rind
Add 2 egg yolks beaten
Add milk
Fold in 2 beaten egg whites
Pour in 1 quart baking dish
Set dish in larger dish containing 1/2 c very hot water
Bake 350 until top is golden about 30-40 min
