Ingredients

  • 3.25 cups of all purpose flour
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups (1 Can 15oz Pumpkin Puree)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts(opt)

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour or spray release either 3-7X3 Loaf Pans


Measure flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and spices into a large bowl
Blend dry ingredients
to this add pumpkin, water, vegetable oil, eggs and nuts

Beat until well blended Pour Batter into prepared pans

Bake 350 for 40 to 60 minutes
toothpick inserted in the center clean means done

I like to either glaze the bars while warm or wait until cool to
creme cheese ice
on breads i like to either put streusel on the tops or top with
more walnuts
