Ingredients

  • 3 T butter
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms, such as button, cremini, bella
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 1/4 C oil packed dried tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 C dry white wine or chicken broth
  • 1/3 C whipping cream

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in skillet, over medium high heat.
Add mushrooms. Cook, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until browned.
Add shallot, cook 2 minutes.
Add dried tomatoes, thyme, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper.
Add wine. Cook and stir, scraping up browned bits from pan.
Add cream; bring to boiling. Simmer, uncovered, 2 minutes or until slightly thickened.
