Stuffing For Fish
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 pound mushrooms sliced
- 2 cup bread or cracker crumbs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash freshly-ground black pepper
- 1 dash savory
Saute celery and onion in butter 3 to 4 minutes, then add mushrooms and continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes longer. Combine the cooked vegetables and remaining ingredients. Use to stuff a 3 or 4 pound dressed fish.
