Ingredients

  • 5 medium potatoes, scrubbed5 medium onions8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

1Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
.2Slice potatoes and onions. Arrange in overlapping rows in 6 individual au gratin dishes, alternating potato and onion slices.
.3Combine butter, salt, parsley, black pepper and garlic powder in a small bowl and mix well.
.4Drizzle butter mixture on top of potatoes and onions.
.5Bake, covered with foil, for 20 minutes. Bake, uncovered, until potatoes are tender, about 15 minutes.
