Ingredients
- 4 TBS (1/2 stick) butter softened
- 1 egg
- 6 TBS sugar
- 4 TBS honey (Or use half honey and half molasses)
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp water
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 C graham flour ( If you can not find graham flour use whole wheat flour)
- 3/4 C flour
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat overn to 350 degrees. Combine the sufar butter eggs in a bowl and beat until smooth and creamy. Stir in the honey and blend. Dissolve the baking soda in the water and add to the butter mixture. Add the salt graham flour and flour to the mixture and blend thoroughly. The dought should should hold together and be manageable. If it is too tacky add a little more graham flour. Cover cookie sheet with parchment paper and roll out dough to 1/8 inch. Use your favorite cookie cutters to make crackers.Prick each one a few times with the tines of a fork. Bake 14 to 15 min. Remove from overn and cool on racks. They will harden up as the cool
