Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. unbleached flour
  • 2 t. sugar
  • 1 t. salt
  • 8 T. butter, chilled
  • 6 T. shortening, chilled
  • 5-6 T. ice water, as needed

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients, cut in the butter and shortening, add the ice water until it comes together, shape into two discs and chill for an hour. Then roll out.
