Julie's French Toast Bake

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 3/4 cup half and half
• 1/2 T. brown sugar*
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 4 thick slices French bread
• 1/2 stick oleo
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1/4 cup chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

Combine eggs, half and half, *brown sugar, and vanilla in a bowl. Pour half the mixture
in a 9x9 dish.
Place bread in pan, top w/other half of egg mixture. Cover overnight. Melt butter in 9x9 pan, add brown sugar, honey syrup, and pecans...add soaked bread on top of this.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 min.
