Ingredients
- 1 (1 lb) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
- 2 oz. thinly sliced salami
- 2 oz. thinly sliced deli ham
- 2 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
- 2 oz. thinly sliced provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tablespoons grated Romano or Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
Preparation
Step 1
let dough rise until doubled, according to package directions; punch down and roll loaf into a 15“x12“ rectangle.
Arrange salami, ham, pepperoni and provolone cheese over rectangle; sprinkle with mozzarella, Romano, garlic powder, oregano, parsley and pepper.
Roll up rectangle jelly-roll style, beginning with a long side. Seal seams and ends; place seam side down on greased baking sheets and brush with egg yolk.
Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm
You can also add; sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, and/or jalapeño peppers.
MY NOTES: Picked Italian green peppers are a MUST in this recipe! They add a fantastic flavor!
