Step 1

Heat a 1/3 c EVOO. Saute 2 15 oz cans chickpeas (drained, rinsed, and patted dry) for 15 minutes or until crisp and golden. Drain on paper towels. In a bowl, toss peas with 2 t smoked paprika, 1/2 t cayenne, and kosher salt to taste and 2 t finely grated lime zest.
