Foil Chicken and Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 TBL oil
  • 1 Pkg onion soup mix
  • 1 square margerine
  • 6 chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the following about 15 minutes on the stovetop until rice is just about done:
3 cups water 1 ½ cups long grain rice
¾ tsp salt 1 Tbl oil
Remove from heat and add 1 pkg onion soup mix and 1 square margarine. Place about 6 chicken breasts on the bottom of a 9x13 pan lined with aluminum foil. Salt and pepper the chicken and cover with rice. Seal the top with foil and bake 1 ½ hours at 350° .
