Ingredients

  • 3 cups oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°

Mix oats, flour and baking soda in bowl.

In a large bowl of an electric mixer beat;
margarine, sugar, peanut butter. Then add water, egg and vanilla.

Add dry ingredients to wet mix.

Chill dough for 1 hour.

Form into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork dipped in sugar.

Bake for 10 minutes until edges are browned.

Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet then transfer to wire cooling rack until cooled completely.
