Ingredients
- 1 medium-sized head cabbage, shredded
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1 tsp. celery seeds
- 1/4 tsp. ground turmeric
Preparation
Step 1
Combine cabbage, onion, and green pepper in a large bowl; set aside.
Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour over vegetables and toss well. Chill several hours or overnight.
Yield: about 6-8 servings
