Cookie Cobbler (Linda Brooks)

Ingredients

  • 1 can fruit pie filling
  • 1 Tbs butter
  • 1 roll of cookie dough
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon, nutmeg OR allspice (choose ONLY 2!)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Empty pie filling into an 8-inch pan. Set in cold oven. Slice cookie dough into ¼ inch slices (round). After the oven is preheated, take the pan out and dot with butter. Sprinkle with sugar/spices mixed together. Top with overlapped cookie dough.

Bake 12-18 minutes until cookies are brown.

Note: Sugar / Peach and Chocolate Chip / Apple are great combinations.
