Oatmeal Craisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 C Butter, Softened
  • 1 C Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1 C White Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 C Oats
  • 2 C All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 1/4 C Craisins
  • 1 1/4 C Chocolate Chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until well mixed. In a separate bowl, combine the dry materials (except the craisins and chocolate chips). Add dry mixture to wet mixture 1 C at a time mixing well each time. Mix in craisins and chocolate chips.

Bake 12-14 minutes. (Mine took about 12. If they look done, they will probably be burnt on the bottom, pull them when they look almost done and let them continue to cook on the cookie sheet.)

The original recipe called for raisins and craisins . . . I deleted the regular raisins and added the chocolate chips.
