  • Crust:
  • 1/2 pkg Oreo crumbs
  • 1/4 c melted butter
  • Filling:
  • 1 carton vanilla ice cream
  • 1 small tub Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup strong doffee
  • 1/4 c coffee liqueur, if desired
  • Topping:
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup whip cream
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp butter
  • Chocolate curls



Step 1

Crust: Mix melted butter and crumbs and press into bottom of 12 inch springform pan. Bake 8 minutes at 300 and coool.

Filling: Allow ice cream and Cool Whip to melt to malt consistency. Mix ice cream, Cool Whip, coffee and liqueur until colour is even. Pour into cooled crumbs. Freeze.

Topping: Cook cocoa, sugar, whip cream and butter over medium heat until smooth and boils. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Cool mixture and pour over ice cream. Return to freezer at least 1 hour.

To Serve: Beat 1 cup whip cream with 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Spread over pie. Garnish with chocolate curls.
